EWTN to Interview Bush on Papal Visit

IRONDALE, Alabama, APRIL 10, 2008 (Zenit.org).- Raymond Arroyo, lead anchor for EWTN Global Catholic Network, will conduct an exclusive interview with U.S. President George Bush on the eve of Benedict XVI's arrival to the country.

The interview will air Friday, just days ahead of the Pope's scheduled arrival to Washington, D.C. on April 15. He will depart from New York on April 20.

Topics to be covered in the interview will include U.S. relations with the Holy See, the papal visit and Iraq.

The special, which will be televised from EWTN’s studio at the John Paul II Cultural Center in Washington, D.C., will air 8 p.m. on “The World Over."
