"Lenten Daily Devotions" from Food for the Poor
Food for the Poor is an admirable charity that ministers to the most destitute, with an excellent four star rating from Charity Navigator. For Lent, it has provided an helpful series of devotions, "Lenten Daily Devotions." Each day's devotion consists of a short Gospel reading with concise reflection and a related "Offering to God."The following is Day 1, today's devotion, for Ash Wednesday:
